Scott tutored my daughter last year for her GCSE maths. My daughter is dyslexic and has discalcula and has always struggled with her Maths. Scott started in the Feb ahead of the summer GCSE exams and our daughter responded really well - she improved significantly with Scott’s help and achieved a Grade 4 in her exam, something which had seemed a long way off in the February. I would thoroughly recommend. When I asked my daughter how Scott had helped she said “he’s just a really good teacher and explained things in a way I could understand”.

Over two years, Scott supported our son with GCSE Maths and the progress he made was excellent. Scott is always punctual, communicates excellently, and is genuinely kind and approachable. As a qualified maths teacher, his professionalism and commitment were evident throughout, and we are extremely grateful for the positive impact he had. Thanks to Scott’s support, our son has developed a strong interest in higher-level maths and engineering and is now confident tackling both basic and advanced problems independently. We would not hesitate to choose Scott again or recommend him for future maths support for our daughters.

Scott gives very detailed explanations, takes time with every question, and is very patient. Overall, I would recommend Scott to anyone looking for high level tutoring, due to his strong subject knowledge but also his natural teaching skills. I believe that anyone who chooses him as their tutor will not regret it.
